Belly Mujinga was spat at while at work on the raiway networkThe Crown Prosecution Service has been asked to review evidence into thedeath of railway worker Belly Mujinga in ‘recognition of wider public interest’, although the case is not being reopened, the British Transport Police said.
Ms Mujinga was reportedly spat at while at work by a man who claimed to have coronavirus.
Police said they had not found any evidence of anyone spitting during the incident, and that a 57-year-old man they interviewed had a test result showing he had not had Covid-19.
More than 500,000 people signed a petition calling for ‘justice’ for her.
