There is no need to add any pools prior to mining a new coin. Simply start mining and the coin will appear on your My Mining dashboard within a few minutes. Just ensure your worker/username is prefixed with your iSpace username.
There is no need to setup workers in advance.
When connecting to the pool just ensure that your UserName is the first part of the worker name. Any subsequent parts and passwords can be set to anything though it can also be used to set a defined difficulty if your wish.
For example, if your user name was User1 you could just setup your miner parameters as follows:
-u User1.miner1 -p x
To setup a worker with a fixed difficulty then use the d= parameter in the password. In this example we are setting a fixed difficulty for worker User1.Miner2 to 4096:
-u User1.miner2 -p d=4096
*** PLEASE NOTE: it can take upto 1 minute for the fixed difficulty to be applied to the worker once connected to a pool
Before you start you'll need to download some mining software. A few popular choices freely available are CGMiner, BFGMiner and CPU Miner (for CPU Mining).
CGminer can be found at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0
BFGMiner can be found at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=168174.0
CPU Miner can be found at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55038.0
The details required for setting up your software are below:
If you use a command-line miner, an example command line is:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://ispace.co.uk:3333 -u UserName.anything -p anything
You can email us at pools[at]ispace.co.uk.
For miners who used to use our old individual sites you can add your old accounts to your iSpace account by clicking on the Link to Existing Accounts link on the My Mining menu. Simply enter your old email and password details and your accounts will be imported into your iSpace account along with all their settings and history.
All you need to do is create an iSpace account and then point your miners at the relevant url / stratum port ensuring your worker name is prefixed with your iSpace username.
An example command line for using the CoinWarz multipool: cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://ispace.co.uk:4443 -u UserName.miner -p x
The website will add all of the relevant pools to you My Mining dashboard automatically for you to keep track of your coin balances.
All coin payout setup can be done on a single screen via menu option My Mining > My Payouts.
If you are planning to use the Stratum Proxy Server to access our pools, please ensure that all your miners connect to the proxy with the same worker name.
Our server software will only accept shares from one worker name with all others being rejected.
There is no limit to the number miners you get setup with the same worker name.
My mining only shows the coins you have mined in the past or are currently mining.
To start using a new coin simply point your miners at the relevant stratum port and the coin will add to My Mining automatically.
